Experience the playfully-amusing, sometimes-eerie, often-mischievous sensations as the wind ensemble recreates feelings of being caught on an amusement park merry-go-round, or even worse, in the center lane of a three-lane roundabout in a busy intersection during rush hour. This piece, commissioned by the Patterson High School Wind Ensemble, directed by Mr. Spencer Jepson, was derived from pieces originally written for a playful granddaughter, Zoey Gabrielle and Maria, her kindhearted grandmother. The work celebrates the many roundabouts one must tolerate when driving through the town of Patterson, California.
