“Freeflight of the Falcon” attempts to embody the combined excitement and emotion experienced by the powerful flyovers of U.S. Air Force F-16 Falcon jets, while the 175-member marching band performed on the field below.
This work can serve as an exciting opening fanfare to a concert presentation, yet can also appropriately be performed as a street march. It is suitable for performance by a minimal ensemble or a mass band.
