Jam On! was written for the George Washington & Abraham Lincoln Elementary School band programs of Hanford, California, both led by Jennifer Locher, a former student of the composer. This composition is meant to serve as a fun piece for students who have been playing for just a few months. Students will enjoy this energetic work with a cool rock beat in the percussion section. The wind parts are limited to just five or six pitches and in some cases, even less. Instrumentation is flexible.
