March of the June Bugs is a delightful piece for beginning band. June Bugs are very numerous during the Summer months in the compose's hometown of Kingsburg, CA. As soon as the sun sets, the June Bugs come out! Clumsily making their way into the night, they "hiss" and bump into just about everything. While not an attractive looking insect, their arrival is nonetheless affectionately looked upon as the official beginning of Summer in Kingsburg.
