This piece was originally designed as the first part of a musical story in four parts. As a part of the story, a bunch of creatures that were extinct for thousands of years are on display in a new zoo for people to see (if Hollywood repeats plots, why can’t we?) This piece was written to capture the majesty of the ceremonial grand opening of this zoo.
