Imagine being bound to overwhelming adversity. We begin with a lack of melody where only a variety of textures and sounds represent your surroundings. Find the strength to fight through this adversity as melody fills your soul. By the conclusion the darkness has lightened and you have proven you are unconquerable. This show was based on William Ernest Henley’s poem where each stanza is quoted throughout the four movements of the show.
