The ninja is among the most fabled of Japanese warriors. Walking among the public in disguise and lurking in the shadows at night, these lethal assassins could put the best covert agents to shame. Explore the ceaseless movement, solitary life, and ruthless skills of these warriors of the night.
Ninja was composed primarily using the “Yo Scale” (1-2-4-5-6), which is the basis for many Japanese folk songs. The the pitch bending played by the flute is meant to copy that of a Shakuhachi. The Shakuhachi is a Japanese flute made of bamboo which is frequently found in Japanese music and is the meditation practice of Suizen by the Fuke School Buddhists.
