Check this out! We’re pleased to be featured in the January/February Halftime Magazine issue discussing the importance of virtual performances during COVID. Bands and the music they make enhance the game-day experience for athletes, fans, and students by creating hype and promoting school spirit. This virtual performance by the IMB is a spectacular example of how we can do this virtually.
With all the hard work we do as a team, it feels good that we’re making noise and others are hearing it. But we can’t do it without our whole team — those behind the scenes deserve the recognition. We want to give special thanks to Aaron Hines who manages video editing, from the lining up of video submissions to audio editing, finalizing the mix and balance of the final audio, and supervising graphic design. Another essential team member to thank is production manager Spencer Hannibal-Smith, who also manages the Our Virtual Ensemble classroom support and maintenance. A last shout-out goes to Dave Isaacs who contributes to the visual designs using his graphic design skills for individual scenes.
